New measurements of the amount of water ice in Mars' south polar ice cap show it could yield enough water to cover the entire planet with 11 meters of water.

Bad news from Earth... spacecraft images from RADARSAT and ICESat have shown that lakes under Antarctic ice sheets is speeding their flow into the ocean. This has nasty implications for climate and sea level.
