A quick visit

Yay! My niece, Lois, is up here briefly for a visit from Melbourne. My Dad, (her Gandpa) is ill so she flew up for a few days with the family. Lucky for me that I was still up here. I should have gone back home a couple of days ago, but circumstances have played out against that.

I just sat in the room watching Lois and her two wonderful siblings chatting about music and taking turns on the piano illustrating the conversation with pieces and fragments of music. How utterly heartwarming!

I hope they realise how incredibly lucky they are. I think they do. It certainly is clear to me how lucky I am to be a small part of that.

Ponyo

Oh! And other news I forgot to mention Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea is wonderful!
Not as much bliss for me as Whisper of the Heart, but still better than almost anything else.

You all must see it. Now. That is an order.
