flying - chapter 1

I was going to post this earlier, but time has slipped away faster than I expected. Anyway, here it is:

It's a little shorter than I'm comfortable with, but will have to do for now. The second chapter is underway.

At the moment I won't put a link on my pages. I'll just reveal it here. Maybe later I'll add a link to my pages... perhaps when it is finished... perhaps earlier... not sure. I'll see how it goes.

It is a bit different to most of my stories. This one doesn't have any romance or sex; it is an adventure story with a bit of an unusual science fiction aspect. It seems at times like fantasy, but it isn't.
