I have been replicating my library of paper texts with electronic texts for quite a while now and today I chanced upon a story which, when I first read it about 37 years ago, made a terrific impression upon me. It is The Weapon by Frederic Brown. I had just about given up hope of ever seeing it again. I still have it somewhere, packed away among my hundreds and hundreds of science fiction books, but finding it would be a terrible task... especially since, until now, I couldn't remember the name of the story or the author.

But now I have it for reading in electronic form on my Palm.
