Linux is now installed on an estimated 87 million desktop computers, if you include Android smartphones and tablet computers

Which I would not include.
But, hey, it has been around 16 years since I first installed (and tried to use) Red Hat, and I think I am at 8-10 years in being (almost) exclusively Ubuntu. And three years since I grumped off installing an update thanks to Unity.
