The Chronicle
Aug. 13th, 2003 08:32 pmIt is back on. Weirdly, starting from the first episode again [oops, my mistake, it was the 3rd episode]. I'm sure it was on channel 9 last time and only ran for about 3 episodes [ummm... 2 episodes]. This time it is on channel 7. It is on at 11:40pm tonight. It is a good laugh... a very enjoyable comedy. Pity it never received the run it deserved.
Seems to be the way with TV these days. If a series costs more than a pittance and attracts less than a massive audience then it is doomed, unless it it is independantly funded. I can't help feeling that the big organisations are in slow suicide mode, and that they are only kept going by inertia. I don't know how correct that feeling is, but that is how it seems to me.
