miriam_eThe Cave Clan meet tomorrow (Sunday) to explore the complex system of drains (not the sewers) under Melbourne. The last one was called off when the weather turned rainy, which makes stormwater drains dangerous.
WHAT: New Explorers Expo
WHEN: noon, Sunday 14th of September
WHERE: meet at the southwest corner of Grace Park, Hawthorn (Melways 45 B-10). 5 minutes walk from Hawthorn Railway Station. Shortly thereafter you will be exploring a fine fine drain.
WHAT: ...to bring? Funny you should ask. Just a torch, and shoes that don't mind getting wet. Grip is good, stilettos aren't.
