Getting my latest robot parts elated me somewhat. It is starting to look really cool.

Erika ([livejournal.com profile] faemortel) pointed me to an amazing article by the musician Janis Ian about copy protection. http://www.janisian.com/article-internet_debacle.html. She says kind of what I said below, but gives a lot of other interesting info from the perspective of a musician who has been inside the machine.
