surprise!!!

As you may know, there are large green tree frogs in my toilet and I often have to remove them before using it. Well today I got a big surprise. There was a large snake in the toilet, presumably eating one of the poor frogs. I described it to my Mum over the phone afterwards and she assured me that it is almost certainly a harmless green tree snake. It sure was a big one. I didn't see it all, but I estimate it to be about a meter long. It managed to squeeze itself up under the rim of the toilet and hide entirely from sight... not a very comforting ability.

I went and pissed outside. :)

Much later I absolutely had to use the toilet. I searched high and low but couldn't find the snake anywhere. The most reassuring thing was that a few items on the bench in there had been knocked over. I don't think it was in the toilet anymore. Certainly it didn't show itself, and the toilet flushes fine now.

Poor frogs.
