LJ problems

If you are a paid user and you were one of the very few who actually lost some data (personalized style information and some user preferences) then there may even be a shiny nickel in it for you.
I am continually amazed at how wonderful are the people who run LJ. Not only do they do an unbelievably brilliant job at managing all this data (hundreds of thousands of people posting daily), they are deeply apologetic when the tiniest hiccup occurs. What totally cool folks!
