At last it begins. I wonder how long it will take now. A decade? Less? I hope to hell it happens soon. I notice it is happening in UK. I really don't expect it to happen in USA. Sadly you might be on an end-of-the-Roman-Empire kind of thing. Unfortunately for us in Australia we are going in the same direction. Hope rests with Europe, China, and India. I'm really pinning my hopes on China for this one though. You still have a lot of the smartest people on the planet in USA though... anything could happen. Such greater goods as filesharing, opensource, free ebooks, all fly in the face of the powers that be. Keep your fingers crossed folks.
