I joined. ( http://www.nanowrimo.org/ )

Gosh, I'm kinda excited and nervous.
Will I be able to do it?
50,000 words during November. Eeek!
Could be fun... could be awful...

I'll blame it on Jean Rosestar. :)

I'm itching to start too.

I keep a big collection of story ideas and fragments that I can draw from when I need some. When drifting off to sleep or just waking I often get cool ideas that jolt me enough to write down into the collection. At other times I'll be driving somewhere and something will pop into my head so I'll pull over to the side of the road and write it down, or I'll be talking to someone and something will occur. There are more than 200 in there now. I should dip into it and see what I can use for NaNoWriMo, 'cos I'm completely blank. I have no idea what I'll write about, but it would be nice if it was something really important to me so that it will sustain me for the month.

Have you got any idea what you'll write about this time?
Is your story from last year online?

Indeed I do (an attemmpt at superhero & horror genre fusion, basically). In fact, I should start sketching out the plot so I can get a good start come Tuesday.

No. It's locked away in shame since not only did I not finish it in NaNoWriMo, I failed to finish it according to a New Years resolution type thingy. I kew there was a reason I didn't do that sort of thing :).

I had vague thoughts of finishing it before NaNoWriMo this year, but am now out of time. Perhaps after - if I'm on a roll :)
