NaNoWriMo begins
Tuesday, 1 November 2005 12:53 amIt is after midnight on the 1st of November and I've started!
Yay!
I'll post this first instalment when I get up in the morning... I don't trust my brain dead state just now. I'll try to write as much as I can tonight before I crash.
Logging off now to go and write.

Date: 2005-11-01 12:12 am (UTC)I hope the story stands up. I somewhat lacking in clarity at the moment. Part two is going to be much harder.
Good luck with yours. You are NaNoWriMo'ing too aren't you? If so, are you posting online?

Date: 2005-11-01 09:10 am (UTC)Ah, when the muse takes you, best not to argue :)

I intend to but since it's 7pm and I'm still at work, and likely to be here for another hour at least, I doubt I'll start tonight.
If so, are you posting online?
I remain undecided on that point. It might help push me along if people express an interest in seeing the end but it might also cause me to wimp out if no-one seems to care (or worse, tells me it's crap).

Date: 2005-11-02 04:32 am (UTC)Ah yes. I completely understand the double edged sword of exposing incomplete work. For myself I took the view that I am so slack I need to have something driving me to do it NOW otherwise I'd put it off for a day thinking I can catch up later, but then having 4,000 words to write makes it even worse.
Best wishes to you with your writing.
