Yep, click on this (http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=miriam_e) which takes you to my info page (same as going to my main LJ page and clicking on the "my info" link.

Now you'll see a heap of useless info. There will be 6 little buttons in the middle of the page. The first one has a tiny cartoon of a person's head and shoulders with a red "+". Clicking on that will add me to you friends (also called flist or f-list).
