Script Frenzy

The folks at NaNoWriMo have begun a new event called Script Frenzy where instead of going flat out to write a novel in a month, you write a feature-length movie or play. It is free, it is crazy, and registrations are already open. The insanity begins in earnest in June. You have nothing to lose but your belief that you can't do it... and you can have a lot of fun besides. You will be surprised what you are actually capable of.

I saw that a while back when I was poking around in the NaNo boards. It looks cool! Not really for me, as I have too many unfinished novels and whatnot floating around, but still cool.

The whole writing theme month is a great idea. I wonder if there's one for poetry? not that I would take part because I can't do poetry. maybe I'm lacking in the soul department? *lol*

I haven't noticed one for poetry (I'm not much of one for poetry myself either), but I saw that there is a call for some kind of list of wild, crazy things to do -- the Trying Big, Fun, Scary Things Together 2007 forum (http://www.nanowrimo.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=31112). It will be interesting to see whato see what grows out of that.
