I got this piece of stupidity in my email:
This program worked for me. If you hate Spam like I do, you owe it to your self to try this program, and forward this email to all of your friends which also hate Spam or as many people possible. Together lets help clear the Internet of Spam!
...by posting spam to people??? How absurd is that?! I wonder if anybody gets sucked into such stuff. Of course what it probably is really about are the "product" links and little "Opt-out" link at the bottom of the email. It seems likely to me that the minute you click on either then you are put on a list of confirmed addresses to be sent more spam.

The dopey lawmakers won't do anything. And the ISPs, though they are gradually waking up to it, are too slow to really understand that spam screws them too. And many spammers now have their own servers anyway.

So here is my war-plan:
Whenever spam mail is sent that has a website address in it then perhaps that site should be marked for a Distributed Denial Of Service attack. If anybody out there has a herd of zombies it might be worth making yourself a hero.

Perhaps after a while companies would realise that buying spam services makes their site a target for DDOS attacks. In a short time the flood of spam should subside to a trickle.

Wouldn't that be nice.
