Wow!
41 minutes of sharp humor that cuts uncomfortably close.
His last line is brilliant and puts it all into perspective.

Send messages to the two senators who can stop Howard's workplace vandalism.

Howard is about to demolish our standard of living in a misguided attempt to put us on a third-world competitive footing. But this is incredibly short-sighted. The workers in those countries are working flat out to gain a first world lifestyle -- that's what they want for them and their families, as they should!

We can't compete on their current level, and it would be social suicide to try. We should be concentrating on our great advantage so that we can maintain our lead. It just doesn't make sense to move backwards while our competitors move forwards.

As the world renowned economist Richard Florida has pointed out, our future prosperity is in the creative classes (scientists, writers, teachers, engineers, artists, architects, and so on). We should be investing in our workers, not cutting back on them.
