I have now assembled an index of all the issues of IF science fiction magazine too. This time I wrote a quick and dirty python program to do the hard work. I think I'm in love. Of all the computer languages I've played around with python has to be the easiest. The only other language that even comes close is ARexx, but python is way easier than that.

Anyway... I've uploaded the index of IF magazine.

Gosh. I'd forgotten what a cool magazine that was, and how many hours of fun I had reading it.

Wow! I prefer to have breakfast while watching video on my computer -- the time feels less wasted that way (I hate having to eat). This morning I re-watched my all-time favorite movie: Little Man Tate. What an amazing movie that is. Brilliant!

Not only are all the performances and the story perfect, but Jodie Foster did a masterful job of acting AND directing it.

I didn't intend to watch the whole thing again. I wanted to see the object Fred makes out of pencils, erasers, and rubber bands... but I was totally sucked in again. That's certainly the mark of a great movie.

Tate is uplifting, funny, enlightening, shifts your world-view, and has no bad guys, weapons, or car chases. What a pity there are so few of those kinds of movies.
