would you let someone drive your car if they had no idea how to drive?

After you finish laughing, you start to realise that Stephen Conroy is completely ignorant about computers and the internet. Can you believe this witless fool is "Minister for Broadband, Communications, and the Digital Economy" for our entire nation? Oh, heaven help us!

He should be locked up for fraud. Maybe then politicians might start to take their responsibilities seriously. But in a world where we expect politicians to be lying morons he probably won't even be fired.

How the hell can this twit manage Australia's telecommunications???

never mind that, how does he manage his own?
maybe he's got a precocious 11 or 12 year old somewhere that he goes to for help?

I bet he doesn't use the internet at all. He is lost in a paper-based past.

To be fair, the Health Minister can't do surgery, and the Infrastructure had never built a building.

Is it that different?

A health minister should have a fair understanding of health matters and a basic level of knowledge on the subject otherwise he or she simply is not qualified to make decisions on the subject. Yes. I have to admit that Nicola Roxon does have at least a basic understanding of, and interest in Health, unlike her predecessor, that pinhead Abbott.

Conroy clearly has not the slightest clue about the internet. He is not qualified to make decisions that affect our use of the most extraordinary communications tool mankind has ever had. I doubt he is even able to use a desktop computer for email.

When uninformed morons make decisions that detrimentally affect millions of much more knowledgeable people it is time to fix our badly broken political process before things completely unravel. This is an insane two-party system where both sides are virtually indistinguishable, both happily sacrifice moral choices for expediency, few in their ranks know much more beyond how to "win" an argument with lies, platitudes, or evasion, and none of them are ever held accountable for those explicit or implicit lies. Such a system is not a workable system at all. If we don't fix this they will pull us down the plug-hole with them.

Aaargh!

Damn! She had the chance to save Labor... and blew it. There is no way they'll be voted in, come next election with that filter on the back-burner. Trouble is the idiots at the Liberal party want the filter too.

That will be one short-lived female prime ministership. What a ditz.

My vote goes to the Greens -- has done for years. They are the only ones who stand for intelligence and morality -- not the fake morality of clods like the Family First bunch.
