almost free energy

It is about time I posted this here. I've been designing, and will soon build, a prototype of an electricity generator that gets its energy from the sun, yet runs day and night, silently, with no pollution. It should be pretty cheap to build too. At the moment I've been putting together the testing electronics so that I can monitor its temperature and electrical output.

I've made a new area in my website for projects. When I get the time I'll add a lot of past projects, but at the moment I'm most interested in getting this generator built.

Here is my solar thermo-electric generator page:

I'll add more details as I build the thing, and I'll add test results as I get them.

If anybody has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

We'll see how it goes.

:) Thank you.

You're very welcome. I'll post in my LJ when I have updates on this.
Eventually I'd like the actual page itself on my site to become a blog so people can comment directly on it. I don't know how to do that yet though.

It's really cool you're doing this. :)
You could for the moment just include a link to maybe your lj message sending link or an email address.

Good idea about temporarily linking to my LJ message. I'm reluctant to add my email address to the page because I've copped a deluge of spams on past occasions when I've done that. I could mung the address of course... though I actually prefer such discussions to be be in the open because of the potential for money to be involved, and I hate money -- it tends to poison conversation.
