I have hundreds of old science fiction magazines which I must scan and OCR one day, so the old Astounding magazines, in particular, interest me. Unfortunately I utterly detest pdf format so I looked on Project Gutenberg and found them as zipped html+pictures -- a much, much better format. I wrote a quick script to download them all:

I should have really got the script to unzip and rename the files for the name and date of the magazines too, but I'll do that later.
