NaNoWriMo in a month

I'll be doing NaNoWriMo again this year. Yay! :)

This time I'm mapping out the story in intricate detail beforehand. The only two times I've completed my NaNo novels is when I've done that, and I really want to finish this one. This story has me very excited. I can't stop thinking about it and my notes are growing rapidly. At this rate I should be as ready as I can be when November comes crashing through the door.

Yay!!

Woot NaNo! I asked my friend for an idea the other day so now I have the bare idea for a novel. We'll see how this goes. I don't want it to be as confined as last year - I finished, but it was boring (probably because it was a memoir - gasp - but I counted it). This year I want crazy fiction that doesn't make any sense. In fact, given that I'm writing my dissertation this year, I pretty much want NOTHING in my novel to make sense. I just want to write...especially without having to be graded or judged. (;

Good luck finishing! I'm sure your story will be fantastic; your stories always are. I'm glad it's ever-present on your brain and that your notes are increasing! I've still got just the tiny little spark of an idea. :P

Yaaaay!

Woo hoo!!!

From tiny sparks raging infernos can grow. :)
I'm sure you will produce something wild!

Sounds like you are going to have fun. I envy you the ability to sit down and just GO. Wish I could, but I've pretty-much proven to myself that the only way for me is detailed preparation [sigh]. But that's okay. :) This will be a doozy of a story (I hope) -- it will be about solving most of the world's problems. [Miriam rubs hands together] mwahahahah

I will be cheering you on - so please post your progress.

(nope - not doing it this year)

Darn. I love your writing. Well, do enjoy yourself wherever you are, whatever you're doing. May you find plenty of spoons. (Oh, and you might be interested in this special episode of the Science Show, which is actually a rebroadcast of an episode of RadioLab from WNYC: http://mpegmedia.abc.net.au/rn/podcast/2010/06/ssw_20100619_1205.mp3 or if you prefer to read it, the transcript is at: http://www.abc.net.au/rn/scienceshow/stories/2010/2917389.htm )

I'll be posting as I go. :)
I hope I finish this one... gonna put in lots of preparation.
