no-caffeine update

Headache finally gone today and vagueness lessening ...er... somewhat.
Had the unsettling experience yesterday of having terrific difficulty thinking. I found myself battling to remember things, lost people's names, and couldn't retain things in mind for more than several seconds. Very strange. I got a peek into what it must be like to be stricken with Alzheimers. Between that and raging headache I was not a happy possum.

I don't like to put negative things into my LJ, but I think my quitting caffeine experiences are an eye-opener.

I. Hate. Headaches. I get the sinus kinds - the ones that, you can't tell, may or may not be a migraine. They last for hours, sometimes days. Had one last night, luckily it's a gone. Ergh.

unfortunately you have the genes for it Loie. The women in our family tend to have lotsa headaches.

Yeah, those sinus headaches can be real buggers... as are migraines. Wow! For days! Ouch. Poor possum.
