miriam_eAm I alone in seeing the death sentence for that jerk as a very, very bad idea?
It seems to me that they are giving him exactly what he wants. He was asking for the death penalty and proclaiming that he is'nt afraid to die. Well of course he isn't scared to die! This stupid jerk thinks that as a martyr he will live in bliss in heaven surrounded by virgins. (Good grief! That has to vie with the Easter Bunny as the dumbest fable ever!)
I think the arrogant fool should be imprisoned for the rest of his life to let him gradually come to realise the scale of murder he has wreaked upon innocent bystanders and the damage he has done to the religion he says he loves.
Kill him and I think the rest of his pals have a ready-made excuse to make more bombs. Keep him alive and you undercut the terrorists severely.
But everybody is baying for blood. *sigh*
Doesn't anybody ever learn?

Date: 2003-08-09 07:09 am (UTC)why no they do not. to learn one must read history and take lessons from it.. oh wait no one reads any more now do they. well thats not accurate ether... What ever it is must be trimmed down to 20 min. so a person can be amused on the potty and then go away feeling good about themselves and filled with world knowledge.
Me, I think he, should just rot in a a nice dank dark hole.
