Spooks - the final episode

Tonights episode of the English Spooks was utterly harrowing. Brilliant!
A pity it was the final episode.

I've caught about a quarter of "Spooks" cos I'm usually doing stuff on a Friday night [and never seem to have the foresight to set the VCR :( ].

hat I did manage to see was excellent stuff!
Good scripting, up-to-the-minute elements woven inthe the storylines, great characterisation, etc.
Had me thinking it was a cross between "Between the Lines" and "The Professionals". :)
I hope the ABC repeats it soon.

I haven't seen either of the shows you mention.
Spooks was one of the most unpredictable shows I've ever seen. And the intensity in some of the stories took my breath away.

The last episode was really strange.
Like I said to my flat-mate, it was as if someone sat you down, pleasantly saying they would show you something interesting, then without warning gave you a hard, stinging slap across the face that set your ears ringing.
