The Cave Clan meet tomorrow (Sunday) to explore the complex system of drains (not the sewers) under Melbourne. The last one was called off when the weather turned rainy, which makes stormwater drains dangerous.

WHAT: New Explorers Expo
WHEN: noon, Sunday 14th of September
WHERE: meet at the southwest corner of Grace Park, Hawthorn (Melways 45 B-10). 5 minutes walk from Hawthorn Railway Station. Shortly thereafter you will be exploring a fine fine drain.
WHAT: ...to bring? Funny you should ask. Just a torch, and shoes that don't mind getting wet. Grip is good, stilettos aren't.

yikes, that's early. but i really want to make it!
would i be able to meet you at some point so i don't get lost..? i don't neccessarily need a lift (although i'm going out tonight, it's hard to know how lazy i'll get..), but maybe i could just meet you at the station and go from there.
also, if at all possible, call me in the morning so i get my bum up. i will set an alarm before i leave for my pretty full on party night tonight *nods*

That would be cool to meet you at Hawthorn Station.
Don't forget to bring old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, and shoes that are grippy and don't have a problem with getting wet.

Should be a lotta fun. We will be seeing places that only film crews and the Cave Clan and drain workers get to see -- a hidden world.

i'll aim to meet you at the station at around 11:30, so i should probably get up at 9ish. yikes :P that'll screw my body clock good and proper. hmm, so call me, and if i'm feeling waaay to crap i.. nah, buggerit, i will come, i can always get an early night! i've got important things to do on monday is all..

Oh dear.... the weather forecast is for rain tomorrow. My last chance to see and it looks like it will be called off again. Waaahhhh!
