Sorry to hear you were sick, but glad to hear you're better!
I had pneumonia as a child and had to spend a week in an oxygen tent in hospital. I had one of my favourite dolls with me (Muffy, a prediction of future interests if ever I saw one) and because she'd been made by my mum, her features were drawn on with coloured pens. They all bled in the humid, oxygen-rich environment, giving her permanent eyeshadow, mascara and lippy. :)
Luckily for me I wasn't that sick. The doc was going to hospitalise me, but luckily the 2nd lot of antibiotics began to work their magic and I began to improve.
I think I know what heavy smokers must feel like now. Why in heavens name would anybody do that to their body willingly?? At its worst I could hardly stand up without getting out of breath.
Hehehehe. :) The mental image of Muffy is gorgeous. I think that will stay with me for a long time... might even turn up in one of my stories.
