The thing I love about giving such talks is that my mind becomes a ferment of ideas for some days beforehand and I end up learning so much in the preparation that it repays me with far more than the effort I spend.
Heheheh :) Thanks. It was a lot of fun. I only put a couple of people to sleep. :) (But they seem to nod off during most peoples' presentations. I think they overwork themselves and are overtired. -- At least, that's my rationalisation.) :) Everybody else seemed to enjoy it a lot.
There are so many books and short works out there on the net -- fiction and non-fiction, free stuff and things you pay for. It is incredible! It truly is a renaissance.
oh, nothing at the moment, and that's precisely the problem. my brain is starting to suffer from lack of exertion, but even just reading the occasional book provides much needed stimulation. maybe next year i will tackle something new..
