Boo hoo!!!!
I drove my car over my Palm after it fell unseen out of my pocket.
It is cracked and warped, remarkably intact, but dead.
Waaahhhhhh!!!!!!!!

Expensive,too.
Thought I'd ruined my tv, yesterday.
I identify.

Oh, and thanks for worrying about me! ^_^
I'm in Oklahoma, tho. We only worry about
tornados. Those hurricanes usually don't
make it this far -- ar ar.

Fairly expensive. Palms are cheaper than Pocket PCs, but at AU$350 it is still more than I can afford to lose. I'll have to wait till I get some income to buy a replacement.

Some time back when I was in a virtual world with a girl from USA we spent a couple of hours chatting while exploring the world. It was a puzzle world with a number of neat things to solve. Anyway, we ended up flying up to stand atop one of the buildings, looking down on the street below while we chatted. At one point she had to leave for a little while, so I waited with her motionless avatar (an avatar is the body you "wear" in a virtual world). Shortly she returned and said she'd had an enjoyable time and explained that she had to go because a storm and tornado may be headed her way and she had to round up the pets and make things safe. It turned out she was only 12 years old (I'd thought she was in her late 20s) and she was the only one looking after the farm that afternoon. Amazing kid.
