The current Australian government is the most evil and despicable bunch of corporate whores we've had for a long time. They are rushing through parliament new legislation that is intended to steal aborigine land from them. The Australian public hasn't been told and the native people who are about to lose their land haven't been told. The government will try to jam it through in a single day without giving senators a proper chance to look at it. Land is the best asset that the native Australians have left. Their culture is just starting to bloom and become an economic advantage for Australia. This legislation would cut them off at the knees. Don't be deceived. Howard and his crooks say the policy changes will be voluntary, but they are already using improper pressure to force people into signing their land away.

Even the conservative Minerals Council of Australia thinks this is unwise.
