bye bye cable bye bye

Today is the day my permanent umbilical to the net goes away.

After this it is back to dial-up which is a much more expensive option for connecting over long periods, but I shall be communicating mostly via email from now on I think. I shall still log on to upload stuff here as it takes but a moment to do that, but no lengthy surfing anymore. I shall miss the ease and speed of cable.

Maybe this will be a good thing. Perhaps I shall do more artwork now.
