Uh-oh...
I can't seem to get a handle on how to write chapter 16. Crap, crap, crap! This is an important topic that I really want to cover -- nationalism, racism, xenophobia, and all the evils that spring from them -- but I can't think of a way in.

As a last resort I could skip it and move along to the next chapter... but I'd prefer not to do that if I can avoid it. I notice a number of my notes for later chapters are very sketchy. I'm going to have this problem more often...

My computer died.
I've pressed an older computer into action as a replacement.
Luckily I've been pretty careful about backups and I don't think I've lost anything... except time and sanity.
