broadband again

YAY!!

Back on broadband again!

Haven't had broadband since the lightning storm... ummm... whenever it was ago... during the floods. (I have the worst sense of time.)

It is slow -- about the speed of dialup -- but I don't have to block the phone line to access the net. And I'm very patient. I'm perfectly happy for my computer to download files at trickle rates overnight while I'm asleep. A new version of Puppy Linux? No problem. It's there when I wake up in the morning.
