flying - chapter 5 - fire

I hope you enjoy. This is going disappointingly slowly. Nevertheless it is faster than it was before the added impetus of NaNoWriMo. I really need to reduce the number of things that divert my attention, so that I can increase my output. One of the things that's retarding my output, apart from my insane ease of distractibility, is that this time I'm spending quite a lot of time rereading my work, to try to ensure it flows. Perhaps this time is wasted, as I haven't caught any major incongruities yet. Of course it doesn't mean that there aren't any, just that I haven't caught them. Even so, it might still be wasted time. Maybe I should just power onward. It is remarkably difficult to do.
I hope to spend a much shorter time writing the next chapter.
