I just watched a fascinating talk on color during breakfast. I'd downloaded it some time ago, but had put off watching it because... honestly, how interesting was a talk on color in painting likely to be? Well, I was wrong; it was amazing. It traced the chemistry of color in painting and its effect on culture and language and technology. Astounding! It put a lot of things in a completely different perspective for me.
