It's not an LJ community, but this is a great writing community.
At first, I was quite lost in there, trying to find my way around. It really didn't take long though.
It has writing classes, from which all the transcripts are posted.
Lots of other educational stuff too. That's where I got most of the information to help me create the "Shadows" outline. There is also a lot of information on world building.
There is a place to post chapters for critiques.
There are monthly challenges. (I've only been there for one...that was the story-a-day challenge which was really cool)
The writing dares kept me plugging away at my keyboard.
It's free to join if you want. Most of the information can be obtained just viewing as a guest. (you can also post messages and responses as a guest)
And a link to the Main Community Board - because I still have trouble getting to the main community from the home page. :D From here, you can scroll to the bottom of the screen, there will be a box that lists the other boards.
