Don't forget, tonight is your chance to see an actual Enigma machine, as used by the Germans during the second world war to encrypt their communications. Claire Ellis, from the UK Enigma Project, will be talking as well as perhaps someone from Bletchley Park. The people working at Bletchley Park to decode the Enigma code included the amazing Alan Turing (died in 1954).

7pm at the Redback Brewery, 75 Flemington Road, North Melbourne.
Free to ASC members, $10 for non-members or join on the night.
Drinks and meals at bar prices.
(ASC is Australian Science Communicators)

Anytime is fine by me, but do phone (9899 9523) beforehand to make sure I am here. Remember that I'll be moving north in about 2 weeks.
