Yep. I feel like I have won the lottery. I wake each morning with a big stupid grin on my face. Most of each day is spent in utter pleasure.

Now all I need is some income... though the work to bring that risks ruining my current state of delight.

chula=cool in Spanish. Not to be confused with "chupa", which means jacket, or "culo", which means ass.

That and the fact that I'm still having problems with my computers. Expect to see me more online in the near future.

I'm visiting my brother's place just now. He came around and picked me up to come fix their (his and his wife Lyn's) computer -- it wasn't logging onto the net. I decided not to waste the phone call after dialing in so am doing a little LJ-ing.

My net connection runs at a measley 21kbps!!! Bleagh! Peter and Lyn live in town and have 56kbs... so much faster.

Speak to you soon possum. Hope life at Jade's is suiting you.

Heheheheh :D Your girlfriend might not be so keen on that. :)

It sure is lovely here. Let me know if you and her ever decide to visit Oz. I can put you up here and show you around the Sunshine Coast.

Oh yeah, there is that. As I read recently on someone else's posting "and she's holding my passport in her free hand."
:D

If we do get over that way, we will definitely contact you.

It is wonderful here. Yes, it is a pity I'm so far.

If you are ever up this way you are very welcome to drop in and use it as a base from which to see the Sunshine Coast. It is about an hour's drive to the coast from my place, but still not bad. Next year I'll have a car.

I'm hoping to be back down there in Melbourne again sometime next year.

awsome

hey Mims,

now where did i put my hiking shoes and i know that tent is around here some where...awesome,awesome, awesome.. i think i am jealous. sorta what my yard was looking like b4 someone decided that it was a big code violation...sigh...I am now having to "clean" up my yard.. i was letting the side yard revert to natural foliage keeping the kudzu trimmed down and letting the cabbage palms come back and a few other types of palms some jerk decide i was in violation of city code so mister code man came when we were not home spent a long time roaming all over my yard peeking into my fenced in back yard or over the top then writing me up for all kinds of violations... not that i am right in the middle of stripping off 75 year old paint and repainting the house Question? why is it that every time i get into "improvement" mode some jerk calls code enforcement on me? Hmmm that means if i do nothing but keep the yard mowed then i will not be in violation and the trees can grow to any hight and fall on the nabors house... yeah yeah thats it....lol. Ah but your new abode is very very nice.

be well mims

love ya

jenna/Bun

This place is so far away from everything here that the building and its surrounds probably don't conform to any legal codes. The place was built by the previous owner (who I suspect must have smoked a bit of green). He'd never built before, and used this to learn. It is a totally weird house, with windows opening in the wrong directions, the stairway in a very odd place, lighting connected to switches in ummm... novel positions.

Hope you win your wars against the local inspectors.

Best wishes to you and Bunnie.
