Re: Actually....
Date: 2004-10-06 05:57 pm (UTC)I've noticed you've begun to post a little again.
Been busy?
Re: Actually....
Date: 2004-10-07 06:00 pm (UTC)I've been very busy at some points and very busy not being busy at others. Mostly, I've simply been turning over a lot in my mind that didn't ever translate into something that would fit in an LJ post. I can't allow myself to spend as much time on LJ as I might feel inclined to. I waited to start up until I felt I could stick with it. Now I'm trying to simply set a steady, reasonable pace and keep writing!

Date: 2004-10-06 06:08 pm (UTC)The Department of Energy has to be able to ensure that power stations don't get sabotaged, especially nuclear ones. (I always felt that making big, centralised power stations was an awful security mistake. Solar panels on every home and many smaller power stations would make for much better security.) It probably also has a lot of input into the making of oil-wars (like the current one in Iraq), and of course there is the all-important function of ensuring the palms of the wealthiest corporations continue to be greased.
And the Department of Treasury... wasn't there a TV series some years ago about spooks working for the Department of Treasury?
