Nope, I told hardly anybody... cos I had pneumonia. :) I didn't go on the net for something like 2 weeks!!! (Wow. That just sunk in to me. Loooong time.)
Miriam, you need to take care of yourself! I'm glad you're over it, but you should have told some people! We would have given you some words of encouragement and not been too blatant about gloating over how we aren't sick (yet) -- knock on wood.
Warm thoughts of love from chilly Alabama, Bob (who thought he was a LJ member, but evidently either isn't, or forgot the damn password)
Sorry to hear you were sick, but glad to hear you're better!
I had pneumonia as a child and had to spend a week in an oxygen tent in hospital. I had one of my favourite dolls with me (Muffy, a prediction of future interests if ever I saw one) and because she'd been made by my mum, her features were drawn on with coloured pens. They all bled in the humid, oxygen-rich environment, giving her permanent eyeshadow, mascara and lippy. :)
Luckily for me I wasn't that sick. The doc was going to hospitalise me, but luckily the 2nd lot of antibiotics began to work their magic and I began to improve.
I think I know what heavy smokers must feel like now. Why in heavens name would anybody do that to their body willingly?? At its worst I could hardly stand up without getting out of breath.
Hehehehe. :) The mental image of Muffy is gorgeous. I think that will stay with me for a long time... might even turn up in one of my stories.
