Date: 2006-10-29 06:52 am (UTC)Do you collect it all in one place? I love to read... let's rephrase that: I'm addicted to reading.
I completed Nano last year, but my novel sucked pretty badly, though just in parts, I think. Other bits I'm still happy with. I tend to write short stories. Dunno why. My NaNo piece last year reads like a bunch of short stories. [sigh]
Not sure if I'll complete it this year. Things ain't lookin' good. Last year I was all gung-ho, lemme at this thing wahoo! This year I'm err, ahhh, I dunno, maybe, we'll see... (Talk about settin' myself up to fail!)
If you ever want to read mine from last year let me know (it's online but at a (not very) secret address). I have a number of shorter pieces (some are tiny) on my site http://miriam-english.org along with pictures, cartoons, virtual worlds, etc.

Date: 2006-10-29 09:26 am (UTC)I know what you mean. When I was writing the steamy parts of mine, my Mum and my niece were reading it. Eeeek! How embarrassing is that?!
I'd planned a big sexy scene near the end and kinda chickened out, implying most of it... though there were more juicy bits earlier... even in the first chapter. :)
