chapter 12 - secrets

I should have posted this earlier, but wanted to add quite a bit more. Unfortunately about 9pm I became terribly tired and thought I'd sneak about 20 minutes' nap... then woke at 3am. I'll add the rest in the next chapter, which really suited it more anyway.

I still have difficulty seeing what I wrote, but a have a better feeling about this one. The structure of this chapter is better, I think, because I took extra care with it after the dialogue-rich previous ones. The topic isn't nice, but there isn't anything I can do about that. It is what it has to be.

chapter 13 - lies

I didn't enjoy this chapter. I really don't like writing about this stuff and will be glad when I can write about nice things again. (I think my next NaNo will be a sweet, harmless romance.)

Anyway, despite my dislike of the topic I think I did fairly well with this one, all except the last couple of paragraphs (which were actually about things that I do like [sigh] ).
