Missed a day. Not very happy with this one. It is unbelievably difficult to write day-in-the-life stuff without it degenerating into boring drivel or unlikely crap.

Gosh. At 1MB Jane Eyre is a large book. The illustrated 1897 edition adds another couple of megabytes to that.

Project Gutenberg Australia is also really useful. They often have more recent books. I notice they have a story by Charlotte Bronte listed as SF called "Napoleon and the Spectre". They also have a novel by her I hadn't heard of before called "Shirley".
